514 cubic inch big block ford

We have here a 514 left over from a project that has changed directions. The owner has decided to put the original 390 back into his mach 1. This engine was built by Grimes machine in atlanta gerogia. They are a very highly respected engine builder in the drag race world. It has only been fired and ran on the engine dyno..was never run in the car. This engine made over 720 horsepower and 590 lbft of torque on the dyno..It features a DO partnumbered SCJ block with 4 bolt mains, DOVE scj heads which where CNC ported along with the victor intake by patriot head service. heads feature light weight titanium valves, harland sharp roller rockers ,screw in studs with guideplates and billet rocker stud girdles....Below is a forged lunati stroker crankshaft , 4 bolt mains, windage tray and main stud girdle....all hardware inside and out are ARP capscrew . Cam is a split pattern solid roller thats 625 intake and 638 exhaust ..Carb is a 900cfm demon and water pump is polished aluminum by edelbrock...Asking $7000 obo....easily $15,000 invested in this set-up,,,Its wayyy too much motor for the faint of heart ,,for an additional $500 we also have the custom 2inch primary headers built by CRites for this engine to fit in a 67-70 mustang or cougar without modifications,,and the Crites frame stands to mount the 429-460 into the 67-70 mustang and cougar..
